Northend Starts His Charge

Toronto’s very own Daniel Wagner Cash, AKA Northend, has been taking the electronic music world by storm as of late, starting with his debut release “Keep It Down”. Available exclusively at Beatport, “Keep It Down” has received support across the board, and was featured this month in Beatport’s ‘Biggest Drops’ Chart.

Over the last month Northend has been giving electronic music fans a nice basket of goodies including mixes, tracks, charts, and events. Having just played his debut headlining show at Maison, Toronto, and opening for the likes of Chris Lake, Michael Woods, Eddie Halliwell, and Deniz Koyu, Northend has officially commenced his climb. His painstaking work in the studio is starting to pay off, as his name is becoming a continuous fixture in the blogosphere.

Along with events and releases coming out of the wazoo, Northend took the time this month to dedicate his May 2012 Beatport Chart to his Extravaganza show, as well as compiling another installment of his monthly mix series.

If you’ve heard his music, caught one of his sets, or are discovering him as you read these words; Northend is worth keeping your eye on over the next few months. His next release “Tabu” is scheduled for arrival at the end of the month.
