TV ROCK are one of Australia’s biggest dance exports alongside compatriot Dirty South- with 2010 set to be their biggest year to date with a slate of new material set to drop in the first half of the year.

It’s been a big couple of years for TV ROCK partnering up with Swedish House Mafia don Axwell and his label Axtone for their past 2 releases ‘In The Air’ and ‘Been A Long Time’ both featuring Australian house singing sensation Rudy. In the Air peaked at #2 on the Beatport charts and spent an incredible 7 weeks at #1 in the Australian charts and Been A Long Time featuring the Laidback Luke mix received multiple spins on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection.

TV ROCK were listed by IDJ and Mixmag in 2008 as the ones to watch and with no wonder- In 2007 they released ‘The Others’ a collaboration with Melbourne rock band The Dukes Of Windsor that was picked up by Data in the UK and spent #9 weeks at #1 in Australia and #2 on the cool cuts chart. They also picked up 2 ARIA awards (Australian music awards) for their debut single ‘Flaunt It’ selling over 350,000 singles in their home country and knocking off supergroup Silverchair for the longest time in the top 10 in Australian chart history.

Their remixing back catalogue reads like a who’s who of dance music, remixing everyone from Groove Armada, Sander Kleinenberg, Axwell, Armand Van Helden, Tiesto, Calvin Harris and Paul Van Dyk to name but a few.

TV ROCK is comprised of GQ DJ of the Year Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough. The duo also own and run Neon Records – a highly successful dance imprint which has already cracked a #1 on the internationally renowned Beatport digital download site.

The TV ROCKers regularly play the Australian, Asian, European and American circuit and have even played to millions closing the MTV music awards and as the pre-game entertainment at the Australian Open Men’s Tennis Final! They also have played at Sensation White in Australia NYE the past 2 years with over 40,000 of their Melbourne dance friends.

2010 sees another massive year for the boys, already collaborating with Tara McDonald to produce 2 new records as well as Afrojack, The Nervo girls and also a new record with Rudy… it’s going to be another big year!
