While making waves with his latest hit ‘Diamond Rings’, the multi-talented DJ & producer Jed Harper is gaining momentum globally in the electronic dance music community.
A native of Newmarket Ontario Canada, Jed has a wealth of experience under his belt. Formally known as DJ ‘Jedi’, the apprentice has risen to the rank of master, and his skills as a DJ are world renown and vastly versatile. He can play a hard electro house rave, to a minimal after hours set, a hip hop night, or even a heavy bass fueled party. Jed is a chameleon in club land, and delivers his chops on a silver platter to his audience. Having played at the stages as Ultra Music Festival & The BPM Festival, his reputation for being a top notch DJ are rock solid.
As well as being an international DJ, Jed has played virtually every notable club in his home town of Toronto, Canada. From big room residencies at The Guvernment and CiRCA, to one offs at Footwork, Cobra, and Sound Academy; the list goes on. Jed also has the honor of resident DJ for the Toronto Bluejays.
Along with club gigs galore and a hectic sports season, Jed has a few wonder-moments in the bag. Notable points include performing on stage with Kanye West, opening for Tiesto & David Guetta, and DJing at private parties for Paris Hilton, Sean Comb(P-Diddy), Nelly Furtardo, and Justin Timberlake.
Evidentially, Jed’s DJ schedule isn’t the only side of his career to take notice of. With mixing and production precision, Jed’s tracks are beyond mere ‘club tracks’; the engineering is as equally important to this sound forger, as the dance floor reactions he gets every weekend. He is also no stranger to being tapped on the shoulder from the pop world, and producing behind the scenes for the likes of Girlicious as well as Howie from the Backstreet Boys. As a side plate to accompany his original productions, Jed Harper has received remix duties from the likes of Michael Woods, Alex Kenji, & Kim Fai.
There doesn’t seem to be an end to the madness as Jed is busy working on future releases. 2013 will be an exciting year for him and his audience.
